Development Application Reports
Arboricultural Impact Assessment
The Arboriculture Impact Assessment is designed using the Australis Standards for Protection of Trees on Development Sites AS4970-2009 and subject council requirements including Tree Preservation Orders.
The report can be completed in two stages.
1. A Preliminary Assessment will include information on tree species, dimensions, health, age, life expectancy, the evaluation method ratings as well as tree protection and structural root zones. Ideally used to aid in the proposed layout design process.
2. The Impact Assessment provides discussions on the potential impacts from the proposed development (if any), tree protection encroachments and protection measures. Site specific recommendations and specifications are also included.
Australian Standards 4970-2009 Protection of Trees on Development Sites describes the best practices for the planning and protection of trees on development sites.
